ARM Diagnostics

One of the methods to evaluate climate or weather model is to compare it to the observations. The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Climate Research Facility is a multi-laboratory, U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) scientific user facility, that provides continuous observations of cloud, aerosol properties and other measurements for more than 20 years.

ARM diagnostic package is developed with BER funding to ARM project.

ARM diagnostic use for E3SM

E3SM is leveraging the effort of ARM in development of ARM diagnostic package to use in climate model evaluation.
