Corinne Hartin, Detailee to DOE’s BER

I am currently a part-time detailee in BER, assisting Sally McFarlane with day-to-day E3SM activities.  In particular, I am working on E3SM communications and research highlights, scientific and technical input, and coordination of E3SM with other projects in BER. I am happy and honored to assist the overall project and its scientists with the transition to a new program manager. I want to continue to highlight the impressive work conducted by the E3SM scientists and I look forward to meeting all of you at future meetings.

I am also an earth scientist at the Joint Global Change Research Institute (JGCRI) in College Park, Maryland where I helped develop a simple climate model to investigate human-earth system feedbacks.  Prior to JGCRI I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Miami in marine and atmospheric chemistry.
