Upcoming Data Release

The E3SM data from all major simulations, that is from all simulation campaigns, will be released to the public and freely available on ESGF (Earth System Grid Federation). Our policy is to release the data after the first overview publication describing the simulation had been accepted. This usually means a few months delay between the data production and the data release to the public.

Current status and planned simulations for the E3SM v1 Simulation Campaign can be found at:

CMIP6 Contribution

DECK E3SM data will also be published in CMIP6 format

  • v1 data CMIP6 PI Control data will be published in Dec 2018
  • the rest of DECK data will be published by March 2019
